PROJECT DETAILS

The Başköy Hydroelectric Power Plant, whose construction has started in the Başköy area of Araç district, Kastamonu province, has an installed capacity of 4.45 MWm / 4.25 MWe.

In our canal-type construction project, the water retained by the regulator structure to be built will be conveyed to the forebay through a 1.2 km tunnel, and electricity generation will be carried out by delivering it to the power plant via a penstock pipe.

Construction is planned to be commissioned in the first half of 2026. After the works are completed and the facility is commissioned, it is aimed to generate an annual average of 12,000 MWh of electricity.
