PROJECT DETAIL

The project, with a total length of 11.3 km and following the 2x1 TY BSK standard, encompasses Earthworks, Structures, Bridge Works, Superstructure Works, and Various Works. The aim of the project is to improve the way that currently serves between Km: 0+000-11+296 as a 2x1 Surface Coating and partially concrete way, enhancing travel comfort and raising transportation standards.

This project connects the Derepazarı district of the Rize province, located in the North-South corridor of our country, to the Kendirli town. Upon completion of the project, the road standard will be elevated, reducing travel times and revitalizing the regional economy. Additionally, a new alternative route to the Black Sea Coastal Way, where current transportation is provided, will be established. This will result in a decrease in the transportation distance from 21 km to 11.3 km.

For these purposes, the project starts from the Iyidere-Ikizdere Provincial Road at the Kalkandere-Kendirli Junction (Km: 0+000), passes through Kendirli and Derepazarı districts, and concludes by connecting to the Black Sea Coastal Way at (Km: 11+298)
