Iyidere Junction - Ikizdere Provincial Highway Project is positioned in the North-South direction between Rize and Erzurum, starting from the Rize Province, Iyidere District Coastal Way (Km: 0+000) junction and ending at the Ikizdere District exit (Km: 37+886)

Our project located on the 02nd route of Rize-Mardin North-South axis in our country is a project aimed at improving transportation standards in its location, achieving fuel savings, preventing dangers such as icing that occur in the region during winter months, and making traffic safe. Our project is also located on the route of the Ovit Tunnel, which provides passage between the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia in the North-South axis of our country under all climate conditions throughout the year, and is situated in conjunction with the Iyidere Logistics Port, where construction works are ongoing.

Within the scope of the project, which is 2x2 in BY standards and has a total length of 37.9 km; the completion of superstructure renewal works in the section between Km:0+000-17+500, which was completed in previous years, and upgrading the Rize-Erzurum road, which currently provides services as 2x1 Surface Coating between Km:17+500-37+900, to a 2x2 BY standard is aimed to increase travel comfort and elevate transportation standards.
