Within the scope of the solid waste project carried out by the association established by the local administrations of Trabzon and Rize for the construction and operation of solid waste facilities; this is a project for the separate collection of packaging waste generated in the provinces of Trabzon and Rize.
The Biomass Power Plant’s core areas of activity include the separate collection of municipal waste at source, transportation, disposal and energy generation; the collection, transportation and sterilization of medical waste; and the sorting of packaging waste to recover it back into the economy.
Established with 100% domestic capital, its headquarters is in Istanbul. The partners of the Biomass Power Plant have been operating in the solid waste sector for more than 20 years.
